AhmedFounder and local surf coach · 12+ years in the water

Born here. Raised by the ocean.

I'm Ahmed. I was born in Imsouane and grew up beside the ocean, surfing whenever the conditions allowed. Long before coaching became my job, I spent my time helping children from Imsouane and the surrounding region feel comfortable in the water and catch their first waves.

I hold a federation certificate in surf instruction and have been surfing for more than 12 years. During that time, I have surfed breaks all along the Moroccan coast and worked with established surf schools and camps. Those years taught me how differently people learn, how much the right conditions matter and why local knowledge is more useful than a fixed lesson plan.

Atlas Imsouane grew from that experience. The aim is simple: honest surf coaching in Imsouane, small groups and lessons shaped around your level, the tide and the conditions on the day. I want every visitor to leave with better surfing and a real understanding of the place I call home.

What shapes every lesson

Local knowledge

Growing up in Imsouane means learning how the bay changes with the swell, wind and tide. That knowledge helps us choose the right moment and place for your level.

Small groups

A surf lesson should give every person time, feedback and space in the water. We keep groups small enough for coaching to stay personal.

Patience first

Ahmed began by helping local children learn to surf. The same patience now guides every first paddle, first takeoff and next step.

Experience beyond the bay

More than 12 years at different surf spots across Morocco have built a broader understanding of waves, conditions and how surfers progress.
